What does Acquire Scout do?

Acquire Scout is a diligence engine for people buying a small business. When you have a live deal, you upload its documents — the P&L, tax return, and offering memo — and the engine recomputes the seller's earnings (SDE) straight from those documents, flags inflated numbers and risks, and cites every figure to its source. It tells you whether the numbers are real before you sign.

How does the document analysis work?

Upload a P&L and a tax return (PDF, image, or spreadsheet). The engine extracts the figures, recomputes SDE, reconciles the documents against each other, and produces a grounded report: the stated-vs-verified earnings gap, add-back scrutiny, risk flags, and what's missing from the deal. Every number links back to the document it came from — nothing is made up to fill a gap.

Is my data private? What happens to my documents?

Your uploads are private to you — only you (and anyone you explicitly choose to share a deal with) can see them. They're encrypted in transit and at rest, used only to produce your analysis, and never used to train AI models. You can delete them at any time. Full detail is in our Privacy Policy.

What's the difference between the plans?

Free lets you search for deals and score them against your buyer profile. Standard adds document verification — recompute the SDE and catch inflated earnings on your own deals. Premium adds the full forensic breakdown — add-back scrutiny, cross-document reconciliation, and priority support. See Pricing for current prices and what each plan includes.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Go to Plan & Billing and click Manage subscription— you can cancel (or switch plans, or update your card) there. If you cancel, you keep full access until the end of your current billing period; you're never charged again after that.

How do I upgrade or change my plan?

Open Plan & Billing, pick the plan you want, and check out. If you're already on a paid plan, use Manage subscription to switch — changes are prorated automatically.
