How we handle your documents
Verifying a deal means uploading its most sensitive files — the P&L and tax return. Here's exactly how they're stored, who can see them, and the control you keep.
Private, encrypted storage
Uploads go to a private storage bucket — encrypted at rest and never part of any shared, public, or other user's data. Tax returns and financials never enter the marketplace listing pool.
Visible only to you
Access is owner-only by default, enforced at the database. No other buyer can see your documents. An advisor can view a deal's documents only if you explicitly share that specific deal — and you can revoke it.
Used only to analyze your deal
When you run an analysis, the diligence engine reads your documents to recompute the numbers and cite the figures — that's what they're for. They aren't shown to other users or sold.
Delete anytime
You can delete any document whenever you want. Deletion is permanent — the file and its metadata are removed.
